Birmingham Fire & Rescue responded to a rollover MVA on Georgia Road around Noon today. Once on scene, Rescue 12 reported no injuries in the incident.

BFRS Apartment Fire

Birmingham Fire & Rescue

Birmingham Firefighters responded to an apartment fire on 21^st Avenue North this morning. Upon arrival, Engine 13 reported a working fire and Engine 9 laid a line.

It was reported that 4 families were burned out of their apartments with one of those families being Hurricane Katrina evacuees.

A quick response by Birmingham Firefighters allowed them to rescue several people from the burning building and stop the fire from spreading. Great job!
