Extreme Makeover Home Edition in Birmingham

The crew from the TV show Extreme Makeover Home Edition is in town. They're rebuilding the home of the parents of sextuplets (6).

If you ever doubted whether or not they really do it in one week, I'm here to tell you that they do! Tuesday, they sent the family to Disney World and got started on tearing the house down, right away.

Today, Friday, there is a new large 2 story house with a full basement up. The roof is on and the brick work is almost done. From the looks of it, they're going to be finished ahead of time.

The family comes back Monday.

This is the best shot I could get of the house. They kept spectators about 100 yards away. It's larger than it looks because the ground slopes down at the edge of the property.
