Cameron at the Summit Apartments Fire - Part 3

Birmingham, Rocky Ridge and Vestavia Hills Firefighters responded to a 2-alarm apartment fire at the Cameron at the Summit Apartments around 11:00AM, Wednesday. The fire, which is still under investigation, started in building 10 and, through the fast work of all the firefighters on the scene, was contained. Although thirteen units received damage, only four were a complete loss.

All the firefighters on the scene should be commended for their hard work with this huge blaze!

New Moody FD Apparatus

Moody Fire & Rescue

Moody Fire & Rescue recently took delivery of a new transport unit, Rescue 1, which runs out of Station 1. The department also added new Rotoray lights to the front of Truck 4.
