Birmingham Fire & Rescue's new engines have arrived! I was able to watch Engine 1's crew training on it Tuesday. It's a beautiful apparatus and one that will look great representing the department out in the field.

This "Turn Back the Clock" features pictures from the October 3, 2003 Berents Building fire. The newly renovated Berents Building, across from the U.S. Post Office downtown on 24th Street, went up in flames just days before opening.
