Veteran's Day

Veteran's Day 2005

On this special day, Veteran's Day, I want to send a special thank you to all the Veterans who have contributed so much to help make our Nation the great place it is! We could never repay you.

Birmingham's Veteran's Day Parade was this afternoon. It was fantastic! I'll try to post some pictures in the near future.

LTG Russel L. Honore was one of the Honored Guests in the Review Stand. You've seen him on the news heading up the relief efforts in Louisiana. He's famous for telling the media that they were "stuck on stupid."

5th Avenue So. MVA

Birmingham Fire & Rescue

The server move is complete and everything's running smooth. Thank you all for your patience during the change over!

Engine 2 and Rescue 22 responded to an MVA at 5th Avenue and 19th Street South. When I first got there, a lady was sprawled out in the street like she had been ejected. Apparently, that wasn't the case.
