2-Alarm Apartment Fire

Wednesday, Birmingham Fire & Rescue responded to a fire at the Montevallo Garden Apartments near Elmwood in southwest Birmingham. The fire went to a 2nd Alarm but was stopped by the hard work of all the crews on the scene.

The 2009 Irondale Whistle Stop Festival was held over the weekend in downtown Irondale. Among the many activities and events at the Festival, the Southern Vintage Fire Apparatus Association had their beautiful equipment on display for everyone to enjoy.
