In the very early days of Fire/EMS I had my share of telephone fights with the Wallace Brothers when Dispatching Ambulances to the Center Point area. They would always call and argue "Every time you send an Ambulance out here, You Will call us too!". Which was always met with "I will call you Only When I Need you and No I Will Not Call You Every Time we make a call out there!" which really perturbed them beyond the point. But eventually as Fire Based EMS became more common the cooperation between Private Ambulance Service and The Fire Service improved and the "You Will Send Us" fights eventually stopped.
