Shoe Warehouse Fire - Part 2

On June 8, 2006, Birmingham Firefighters responded to a 4 alarm fire at the Shoe Warehouse located at 1415 1st Avenue South. The fire was the largest in the city in almost 10 years.

Birmingham Fire & Rescue did a great job of extinguishing the huge blaze while, at the same time, preventing injuries to the public and emergency services personnel on the scene.
